The task and customer datasheet view pages allow you to view and edit multiple items at the same time. This can be much faster than editing items individually, especially if you need to update a large number of items.
Task datasheet view
The task datasheet view can be reached by selecting ‘Task datasheet view’ from the ‘Schedules’ section of the main menu.
The datasheet view will initially load without any tasks selected. Use the filters at the top of the page to make your selection, click apply filters to load the task list.
Each row in the list represents a task. The ‘task details’ will be shown initially. You can switch between task details and task pricing information by using the buttons above the table. If you have made any changes they will need to be saved before switching.
The task details option allows you to edit the following task information. See the tasks resources page for full details on what each of the fields are for.
- Task ID.
- Customers reference.
- Task description.
- Notes/hazards.
- Assigned team.
- Arisings.
- Rainy.
- Task active or not.
- Critical risk.
- Warn duplicate.
- Is guide task.
- Guide name, (if ‘is guide task’ is selected).
The Task pricing information option lets you edit the following information.
- Is fixed price.
- Fixed price, only shown task is set to fixed price.
- Start finish times required.
- Disposal cost.
- Travel time.
- Estimated man hours.
- Base rate % adjuster.
- Subcontractor rate.
- Task m2.
- Annual requote.
Customer datasheet view
The customer datasheet view can be reached by selecting ‘Customer datasheet view’ from the ‘Customers’ section of the main menu.
The datasheet view will initially load without any customers selected. Use the filters at the top of the page to make your selection, click apply filters to load the customer list.
If a customer type is selected in the search area you will be given the option to rename that customer type. To do so click the link, enter the new name and click save.
Each row in the list represents a customer where the following information can be edited. See the customers resources page for full details on what each of the fields are for.
- Customer type.
- Payer type.
- Primary phone.
- Email.
- Percentage discount.
- Sage ID.
- Sage exported.
- Initial balance.
- First contacted
- Annual requote required.
- Customer onsite.
Editing items
To edit items on either the task or customer datasheet pages simply update the desired field(s) for each task or customer that needs updated. Rows that have unsaved changes will be highlighted orange.
Click the save changes button either above or below the table to confirm your changes.
